Jeffrey Wang- Xanadu Story

Jeffrey Chong Wang was born and raised in Beijing, China. He immigrated to Canada in 1998. He graduated from OCAD University, completing one school year in Florence, Italy. He then obtained his MFA from the New York Academy of Art, spending one year in Normandy as part of a painting residency in 2008. At the time, some of his paintings were purchased by Christopher “Kip” Forbes and the Prince of Wales. Jeffrey has moved back and forth between Canada and China. He has exhibited his works in several solo and group shows in Toronto, Beijing and Shanghai, including “Truth” in 2011, “Year of Tiger” in 2012 at Toronto’s Engine Gallery, and “Attachment, Anger, Ignorance” in 2014 at gallery AM Center in Shanghai. Jeffrey’s paintings have also been exhibited and sold at international art exhibitions in Toronto and Beijing. His works are collected by Canadian, American, Australian, European, and Chinese art enthusiasts.
