Biographie

Michael Scoggins est né à Washington D.C. en 1973 et a obtenu une maîtrise en beaux-arts en peinture du Savannah College of Art and Design en 2006. Il a participé à plusieurs résidences prestigieuses, notamment à la Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture dans le Maine, à la MacDowell Colony dans le New Hampshire et à Fountainhead à Miami. Michael a acquis une reconnaissance interna- tionale et ses œuvres ont été présentées dans des galeries à Atlanta, Miami, New York, Detroit, San Francisco, Séoul et Vienne, entre autres. Ses œuvres ont été ajoutées à des collections notables, notamment celles du Hammer Museum de Los Angeles et du MOMA de New York. Les œuvres de Michael ont été exposées dans plus de 20 expositions personnelles et 50 expositions collectives, et ont fait l’objet d’articles dans de nombreuses publications. Il vit et travaille actuellement dans la vallée de l’Hudson, à New York.
